Caitie Ihrig is a sports photographer who also does landscape and portrait photography.

She was born cross-eyed. She has almost no depth perception and her brain ignores the image from her right eye. This made trying to play sports growing up nearly impossible, because if something is thrown at her, she can't see it coming. When she take sports photos though, her camera gives her a way to see what she could not see before.

She has worked for The Ithacan, Ithaca College's student ran newspaper, since her freshman year in both the photography and sports sections, and was the Sports Editor and the Photo Editor. Over the past two years, she has had photography internships with five teams and has photographed various teams around the Rochester area and different professional sporting events.
